In our increasingly mobile society, people often relocate in their later years. Quite often these people desire to return "home" for their burial, often in a family plot where several generations of their family have their final resting place together.
Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home has extensive experience with the legal and logistical concerns which come into play when the place of death and the place of final disposition are separated by state or national boundaries.
The fact that a death occurred perhaps thousands of miles away should place no additional hardship on the family members handling the arrangements. Our staff will handle all of the necessary details, whether they involve foreign consulates, international law, local health codes, or obtaining legal documents from another jurisdiction.
We will also make all of the necessary arrangements for transportation of the deceased to our funeral home for services.
