| Obituary: Florbela (Guerra) Vaz of Mt. Vernon passed away suddenly on January 25, 2010. Florbela was born on January 12, 1971 in Portugal to Felisbino and Isaura Guerra. She came to the U.S. in 1980 with her family and settled in Mt. Vernon. She graduated Mt. Vernon High School in 1989 and later went to work for Chubb Insurance Company. Florbela is survived by her sons Steven and Michael, parents Felisbino and Isaura Guerra, brother Jorge Guerra, sister- in- law Nancy and cousins, nieces and nephews. |
