Obituary: Anthony Rossetti of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Jan.9, 2010.  Anthony was born in Mt. Vernon on Nov. 5, 1932 to Emilio and Filomena (Annunziata) Rossetti
He married Ida Argentina in 1972.  Anthony owned the Ivy Covered Cottage and Four Corners Restaurant in Mt. Vernon and also worked as a truck driver for Valentine Trucking. He was a Parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Anthony is survived by many nieces and nephews and two great nephews, Matthew Bubnis and Michael Rossetti, Jr. and a great niece, Gina Rossetti. He enjoyed writing short stories and poetry, watching sports especially Yankee baseball and football. He was an avid golf player and was very proud of his accomplishments on the tee.  He also derived great pleasure and enjoyment when being with his family members. Predeceased by his wife, Ida Rossetti who died in January 2004, his four sisters: Carolina Rossetti, Marie Bubnis, Frances Reynolds and Ann Massio, a brother: Mario Rossetti, and his niece Virginia “Ginny” Rossetti. A Memorial Mass will take place on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 1:00 pm.
