| Obituary:
John F. Green of Yonkers passed away March 29, 2010 in Florida with his wife Rose by his side. John was born in Mt. Vernon to Henry and Margaret Green on January 25, 1920. He served in the United States Army during World War II. John was active in the Knights of Columbus and was a 4th Degree Knight, Holy Name Society at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, VFW 596 and the American Legion in Eastchester. John is survived by his wife Rose Carinci Green, son Robert Green, brother William Green and sister Marie Scarvarelli. He is predeceased by his first wife Elena and daughter Dorothy. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. There will be a funeral service on Friday at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church at 9:30am.
