| Obituary: Linda Gans of Mt. Vernon passed away on February 1, 2010. She was born on April 2, 1960 in the Bronx to Leonardo and Rose Fichera. Linda graduated from Fordham University became a chemist who specialized in skin care products. She is predeceased by her mother Rose and stepmother Lucy and her husband Steven Gans. Linda is survived by her father Leonardo and a brother Anthony; and her nieces Mia and Cristina. Family will receive friends 7-9 pm Thursday and 2-4 & 7-9 pm Friday at the funeral home. Dear Anthony, Leonard, Biana and Family, I am deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Linda. She brought so much joy to her friends here in Arizona - we will miss her dearly. Linda was clearly one of the most giving individuals I have met - she had such a good heart. We loved her tremendously and will miss her always.
