| Obituary:
Rosina Damiano of Mt. Vernon passed away on May 7, 2010. Rosina was born May 9, 1919 in Santo Angelo dei Lombardi to Nuziante and Incoranata Braccia. On November 6, 1944 Rosina married Balduino Damiano and together they came to the United States in 1956. Rosina worked as a seamstress and was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. She will always be remembered for her caring, thoughtfulness and love of family. Rosina is survived by her daughter Livia Mariconda and a brother Vincenzo Braccia. Also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Balduino a daughter Angela DeBenedictis and eight siblings. |
