| Obituary:
Margaret Rose Pantuso Colorusso born January 24, 1915 on North 6th Ave Mt. Vernon in one of the many houses that her family had lived in. Both of her parents Biagio and Emilia Lauro Pantuso predeceased her. Margaret was the fourth of nine children. The following siblings all predeceased her, brothers Francesco Salvatore, her sisters Giuseppina (Josephine), Caroline (Carrie), Rose, and Anna. Margaret is survived by two sisters: Antoinette and Geraldine (Gerry). In August of 1939 Margaret married Pasquale (Pat) Colorusso, who predeceased her November 1987. Margaret is survived by her two children: Her son Patrick Colorusso (Dolores), their children Craig (Meghan), their daughter Kerri (Michel) and their daughter who was named after Margaret, Margaret Pearl (Maggie P) Her daughter Janet Colorusso Kienzle (Thomas), their children Dina her children Sara and Ashley, Gary, and Shannon (Matthew). Margaret was a homemaker since her marriage in 1939, very active at both Our Lady of Victory and Sacred Heart Churches. She loved to garden and sew. In lieu of flowers donations to the Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester, 311 North Street Suite 204, White Plains NY 10605 or do an act of kindness. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8pm.Mass of Christian burial Saturday Our Lady of Victory Church 10am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery |
