Anthony G. Cerbone of Mt. Vernon passed away on March 22, 2010. Anthony was born in Mt. Vernon to Andrew and Philomena Cerbone. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. Anthony married Mary Branco in 1947 and worked for the United States Postal Service in Mt. Vernon retiring in 1993. He is survived by three sons Anthony (Anna), Jude and Romeo, three sisters Ann Marzella, Rose Sclafani, Mary Feraulo, two brothers Nicholas and Salvatore. Anthony is predeceased by his wife Mary, two brothers Joseph and Fred and a sister Lena. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm.
