| Obituary:Marie A. Webster passed away on October 28, 2009 after a valiant struggle with inflammatory breast cancer. She was born in the Bronx on July 5, 1946 and lived most of her life in Pelham, N.Y. She was a physician’s assistant for many years in New Rochelle and Larchmont and endeared herself to their patients with her caring and friendly nature. Her volume of Christmas cookie recipes was and is a cherished staple of her household. The ambiance she spread at her favorite holiday gatherings throughout the year will be remembered by all who accepted her invitations. Marie is survived by her loving husband, of 44 years, Dennis, daughter Kim, son Dennis and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She is also survived by Christina and Josephine. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Louise Arpaia and her sister Theresa. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Mt. Vernon, at 12 noon.
