Obituary: James Wallace (Scotty) of Mt. Vernon passed away on April 28, 2009. Born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 12, 1932 to James and Winnifred Wallace. Devoted husband of Martha; loving father of Alan Wallace, Priscilla Nelson and Florence Vidal; dear brother of Alan Wallace and cherished grandfather of seven grandsons. Scotty loved to dance; he loved life and loved his family and friends. He proudly served his country during the Korean War. We will meet him again on the dance floor in heaven. Family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
