| Obituary:
Angela Salierno of Pelham passed away peacefully on September 21, 2009 at the Sarah Neuman Nursing Home. Angela was born in Scranton PA on March 23, 1928 to Angelo and Minnie Nardella. She married Vito Salierno on April 14, 1951 in Scranton PA and on April 15, 1951 they moved to Mt. Vernon and started Vito’s Shoe Repair. Angela is survived by two daughters Ann Vettorino (Joseph), Jo-Marie Barriento and a son Sal Salierno, three grandchildren Jessica Bianchini, Alexandria Salierno and Corrin Salierno, sister Sarah Epifano and a brother Joseph Esposito. Predeceased by her husband Vito on Nov. 19, 1995, three brothers Anthony Nardella, Thomas Esposito and Michael Esposito.
