| Services: Family will receive friends Tuesday 7-9 pm and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Mt. Vernon, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, Donations Dept., 5300 East Avenue, W. Palm Beach, FL 33417 in Memory of August Nigro.

| Obituary:
August Nigro, 76 of Boca Raton, FL and formerly of New Rochelle and Mt. Vernon, NY passed away suddenly March 28th after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Diana (Ragonetti) for 49 years and cherished father of August Nigro and his wife Robin and Philip Nigro and his wife Marni and the late Julie Rohle. He was a loving grandfather of six grandchildren, Christopher and Andrew Rohle and August, Nicole, Christian and Samantha Nigro. He leaves a brother, Joseph, of Florida and three sisters, Yolanda Bambara, Eleanor Nullett and Linda Nigro, all of Westchester County, NY. August was predeceased by a sister, Mary Nigro and two brothers, John and Peter Nigro. He served in the Armed Forces and was one of the founders of Nigro Bros., Inc. of Mt. Vernon, NY. He was devoted to his family and donated to many charities without fanfare. |
