Obituary: Richard Donald Mikulski of Mt. Vernon passed away May 27, 2009 at the age of 79.  Richard was born in Buffalo NY to Julia and Henry Mikulski.  He was a graduate of Cooper Union Institute with a degree in architectural design. Richard served in the United Stated Army during the Korean War and after the war was employed by Raymond, Lowe and Smythe and he later retired from Hambrecht – Terrell International in NYC.  Richard had a passion for sailing and was a member of the Power Squadron.  He is survived by a sister in-law Marion L. Mikulski and two nieces Ann Moore and Karen Dunlap.  Predeceased by a brother Henry W. Mikulski and a sister Irene Mikulski.  Funeral private.
