Services: Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 10:30am at Sts. Peter and Paul Church.
Obituary: William V. Martimucci of Eastchester passed away August 12, 2009. Bill was born in Mt Vernon on April 2, 1930 to Pasquale and Mary Martimucci. Bill served in the US Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated, along with his brothers, The Martimucci Bros. Beer and Soda Distributors in Mt Vernon for 51 years. Bill Married Mary Cavalluzzi on April 3, 1952. Mary predeceased him in March of 1994 after 42 years of marriage. Bill then went on to marry Adrienne Groccia on November 10, 1996. Bill Served on the Mt Vernon Board of Education as trustee for 15 years, 5 of those as president. He was a strong advocate for special education. He is survived by his wife Adrienne Martimucci, his son William A. (Edith) Martimucci M.D., brother Dominick A. Martimucci, grandchildren Jeannette, Kristina, Mary Martimucci, Michael, Adrienne and Jacqueline Groccia, and many Nieces and nephews.
