| Obituary:
Adele Kessinger of Mt. Vernon passed away on July 25, 2009. Adele was born in the Bronx on October 3, 1921 to Ortese and Concetta Bartolini. She married Richard Kessinger in October of 1946. Adele worked as school crossing guard in Mt. Vernon near the Washington School and on the corners of Esplanard and Lincoln Ave. Adele was most happy when she was with her family. She was an excellent cook and an avid bingo player. She is survived by her daughter Dolores Colorusso and a son Richard Kessinger, a sister Ann Kessinger,her husband Alan and a brother Joseph Bartolini, two grandchildren Craig Colorusso and his wife Meghan Hart and a granddaughter Kerri Sommer and her husband Michel and a great granddaughter Margaret Pearl.
