| Services: Family will be receiving friends on Thursday from 4 to 8pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at St Ursula’s Church at 10am.

| Obituary:
John Fevola of Mt. Vernon passed away on October 13, 2009. John was born to Archilles and Adelaide Fevola in the Bronx on November 3, 1924. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the Seabees a Construction Battalion. On June 18, 1978 he married Phyllis Pandolfo. John was a detective in the Mt. Vernon Police Department. He was the driver for Mayor Petrillo, Mayor Vaccarrello and part time driver to Mayor Blackwood. John retired in 1992. He was also an avid golfer and fisherman. John is survived by his wife Phyllis, and step children Loretta and Edward Seminara. |
