Services: Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church at 10am.
Obituary:Vincent DiPuma passed away on June 23, 2009.  Vincent was born in the Bronx and lived there for 82 years before relocating to Tennessee with his daughter’s family. Vincent served in the US Army during World War II. He was the founder and president of Or-Di Construction. The company was based in Mt Vernon for 30 years. Some of his many structures built were Blythdale Children’s Hospital, Helen Hayes Hospital, Sarah Newman Nursing Home, Tomack Fusion Reactor Center, Private Griffith and Valentino Memorial Fire House in Mt. Vernon NY, Masuk High School in Monroe Ct, Pace University dormitories, CibaGeigy Pharmaceuticals, in Westchester and Puerto Rico, Sarah Lawrence Library, Harlem School of Arts. Along with his monuments his greatest legacy are his four daughters Barbara, Vickey, Patty, and Laura. That legacy leads to another legacy of seven grand children Mark, Michael, Matthew, Christopher, Vincent, Keith, Jackie, and one great granddaughter Zoey.
