| Obituary: Jeanne Moccio Bednarczyk of Mt. Vernon and Boyton Beach, Florida passed away September 2, 2009. She was born in Mt. Vernon on May 11, 1918 to Aniello and Ida Terracciano. She married Sergeant Anthony L. Moccio on April 30, 1944. Sergeant Anthony L. Moccio passed away on November 11, 1985. On June 4, 1993, Jeanne married William Bednarczyk. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Mt. Vernon Board of Education for many years. Jeanne is survived by her husband William, sons John R. Moccio, Paul A. Moccio, daughter Carol Moccio Krass, sister Rita Rutotolo and six grandchildren. She is predeceased by three sisters: Evelyn Terracciano, Anne Ambrosino and Rose Colantuono. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
