Services: Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in White Plains. 
Visitation: Urban, Adam R., a lifelong resident of Mt. Vernon, NY died peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2008.  Adam was born August 16, 1925 in Mt. Vernon, son of David M. Urban and Rose M. (Vetterino).  After graduating from Edison High School with honors, he was employed as an electrician and became a member of Local Union IBEW and Local 3, rising to the position of general Forman.  Adam retired in 1988 and spent many happy times at his Berkshire home in Sandisfield, Mass.  He enjoyed the outdoors tremendously, as an avid hunter, fisherman, softball pitcher, gardener and sports enthusiast.  He excelled in bowling, being one of the first individuals in his league to bowl a 300 game on October 2, 1963.
 Adam is survived  and deeply missed by his loving wife, Josephine (Cellini) and their three children, Adam Urban, Cynthia and Steven Carlson, and David Urban; four grandchildren, Alison, Andrew, Adam and Melanie; his brother David Urban and Elizabeth; and his sister-in-laws, Marie Sclafani and Dorothy Peters; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
