Services: Family will receive friends on Saturday from 7-9PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Pelham Manor.  In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Multiple Sclerosis Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
Obituary: Albert Papa passed away on October 30, 2008. He was born on November 24, 1924 in the Bronx. Albert served in the US Army, PFC Company A, 34th Signal Construction BN, WWII Veteran. A True Yankee Fan and former employee at Yankee Stadium (The House that Ruth built) for nearly 20 years.  He lived in New Rochelle, NY for over 50 years, was also a part time resident in Stuart, FL. and most recently living with family in NJ.  Albert was a loving husband of the late Mary R. Papa for 58 years. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather and great grandfather (Poppy). He is survived by six children, Alex (Mary), Ginger (Bob), Lorraine (JR), Joyce (Tim), MaryEllen (Scott) and Michael (Marie). Cherished Grandfather of Alex Jr., Danielle (Richie), Jaime, Regina (James) Robin, Robert, Thomas (Lisa), Jason (Bridget), John, Lauren, Samantha, Tyler, Jessica (Gil), and Michael Jr. Great-Grandfather of Richie III, Alexandra, Anthony, Ashley, Leanna, Ryan, Devin and Bianca. Also survived by one brother and two sisters.

I will always remember Uncle Albert as smiling. I don't think I ever saw him upset. He has been part of my "family" for as long as I can remember. If my Dad ever needed help, he was there - "Mr. Fix-It". I will miss him and your Mom SOOO MUCH!!!!
