Obituary:Filomena (Fanny) Manganiello of Mt. Vernon passed away on April 11, 2008.  She was born in the Bronx on January 20, 1922 to Luigi and Maria Ciarcia.  Filomena is predeceased by her husband Giacomo in 1994. She is survived by her children, Maria and her husband Henry Casey, Anthony and his wife Laura Manganiello, Adrienne and her husband Michael Brescia and Louis and his wife Denise Manganiello; her grandchildren, Marc, Dana and Gregory Casey, Anna (Matthew) Frank, Anthony and Stephanie Manganiello, Michael and Diana Brescia, Jaclyn and Nicole Manganiello, her great grandson Nicholas Frank. Also survived by a sister Connie DeNunzio. Filomena is predeceased by her brother Paul Ciarcia and her sisters Angelina Ciarcia and Antoinette Nioras.  Filomena owned and opera ted Lu-Ann Fashions on 4th Ave. for many years.
