| Services: Friends may visit the funeral home on Saturday & Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian burial St. Ursula's Church Monday at 10am. In lieu of flowers donation to the American Cancer Society in her name would be appreciated. |
| Obituary:
Ada Lotto of Mahopac Formally of Mt. Vernon, passed away on March 6, 2008 after a brave and courageous battle with esophageal cancer, with her family by her side. Born on December 3, 1927 in Benevento Italy to Eugenio & Vincenza Pastore. She married John Lotto on February 3rd 1946. They came to the United States where they resided in Mt. Vernon for the next 58 years. Ada was a dress maker for Jay Rose Dress Factory for many years and was a member of I.L.G.W.U. She is survived by her sons John (Dolores) of Mahopac, Anthony (Betsy) of Cortlandt Manor, and Carmela Colonna of Yonkers. Also graced with seven grandchildren Denise Daly, Adrienne Lotto, John Lotto, Rita Colonna, Diane, Vincent & Michael Lotto and was blessed with three great grandchildren Jason, Jordon and Ruby. She is also survived by nine sisters Antoinette LaPeccerella, Maria Albino, Carmela, Alba & Diane Pisacreta, Anna Marie Iannucci, Clara Battista, Rosetta, Edda and a brother Aldo Pastore. Predeceased by her husband John in 1993 and her sister Rita Corrente in 1984. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her Inspiration and happiness. Ada will be missed by all. . |
