Concetta Lembo  Date of Death: August 8 , 2008 Services:  Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian burial Friday at Our Lady of Victory Church 10am. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery Visitation:Concetta Lembo of Mt. Vernon passed away peacefully on August 8, 2008. Concetta was born September 11, 1921 in Mt. Vernon to John and Augustina Caruso. Concetta attended local schools and graduated from Our Lady of Victory Business School. She married Anthony Lembo May 29, 1948 at Our Lady of Victory Church. Concetta dedicated her life to make certain her children were well educated. Working extra jobs to pay for their college education. She would barter her talents for other people's talents to benefit her family. She took less pay to work as a secretary at Our Lady of Victory School so she could be home for her children. Later she became an administrative assistant at the Wartburg Home. She loved music, going to Broadway Play’s, the Opera and travel. Concetta is survived by her two daughters Tina Henry and Jean Lewis, son Joseph Lembo, grandchildren Elizabeth Lewis, Allison Lewis and Matthew Lembo, a brother Anthony (Teddy) Caruso and sister in-law Anna Caruso.
