Nicola Giugliano Date of Death: March 24 , 2008 Services: Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home.  Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Ursula’s Church.  Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Visitation: Nicola Giugliano of Mt. Vernon passed away peacefully on March 24, 2008.  Nicola was born on January 26, 1923 in Naples, Italy to Rocco and Gabriela Giugliano.  He married Rosa Castaldo on April 14, 1945 in Italy and moved to the United States in 1964.  He is survived by his daughter Gabriela and her husband Luis Viant and a son Rocco Giugliano; his grandchildren Rosanna Forgione, Gabriela Paladino, Luigino Viant, Adriena Viant; his great grandchildren Anthony Paladino, Giuliana and Silvana Forgione, Joseph Paladino and Alessia Paladino; a brother Umberto Giugliano and two sisters Clorinda Bassolino and Clelia Belardo. Nicola was known to have a great sense of humor. He worried a lot about his family and friends, whom he loved with all his heart.
