Vernon passed away on March 12, 2008.  She was born in New Bedford, MA on February 21, 1920 to Anthony and Mary Rodrigues.  Mary was predeceased by her husband Anthony in 1992.  She is survived by her children; Mary Gougeon, Theresa Vitale, Nicholas Girardi, Anthony Girardi, Vincent Girardi, and Deborah Buffman; her sister Esther Susie and a brother Daniel Rodrigues.  Family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home.  Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am Saturday at Our Lady of Mt.
