Visitation: Pasquale (Pat) Fico of Yonkers passed away January 11, 2008. Pat was born in Mt Vernon on August 2, 1930 to Luigi and Maria (Bruner) Fico. Pat married Jean Ciarcia on January 12, 1952 at Sacred Heart Church in Mt. Vernon. Pat served in the United States Army, and was a decorated veteran of the Korean War. He was a squad leader in a rifle company in the 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. At the time of his discharge from the Army he held the rank of Staff Sergeant. Pat worked as a plumber in Mt. Vernon for many years. He is survived by his wife Jean, five children Louis (Maria) Fico, John (Claire) Fico, Joanne (Manny) Chirico, Geraldine (Steven) Kelly and Frank (Marge) Fico, 13 grandchildren, sister Carmela Arena, and lifelong friend Anthony “Skinny” Argentina. Pat was predeceased by a brother Anthony. Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9pm and Monday from 3 to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday at St. Bartholomew’s Church at 10am.
