Gerardo DiLeo Date of Death: November 25, 2008 Obituary: Gerardo DiLeo of  Mt. Vernon passed away peacefully on November 25, 2008 with his loving family by his side.  He was born February 19, 1936 in Guardia Lombardi, Italy to Antonio and Roccina DiLeo.  He married Maria Salvatore on January 21, 1960 in Italy; they came to the United States in 1967.  Gerardo worked as a landscaper until his retirement.  He was a proud member of the Guardia Lombardi Club in Mt. Vernon.  Beloved husband of Maria; loving father of Vito and Antonio; cherished grandfather of Gerardo Mark DiLeo; dear brother of Joseph DiLeo and Maria Damiano.  Family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the funeral home.  Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am Saturday at St. Ursula’s Church.  Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
