Services: Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at Sts. Peter and Paul Church at 10am.
Obituary: Alfonso D’Auria, a war Veteran and retired truck driver died on November 20, 2008, he was 88 years old. Mr. D’Auria was born in the Bronx on March 25, 1920 to Gaetano and Louisa D’Auria, one of 10 children. Mr. D’Auria was a gunnery sergeant in World War II. He worked at the shipyard in Brooklyn, R. Hoe & Company and for 30 years until his retirement at Canada Dry Co. in Mt. Vernon. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Ann (Tiso) D’Auria, his daughter and son-in-law Susan and Louis Roccuzzo and his son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Kathy D’Auria. He is also survived by 3 grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters Ron and Laurie Roccuzzo, Phil and Melissa Roccuzzo, Mike Roccuzzo, Samantha and Alyssa Roccuzzo.
