Edvige Cardillo Date of Death: March 3 , 2008 Services: Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 to 5 & 7 to 9pm.  Mass of Christian burial Thursday St. Ursula’s Church at 10am.  Visitation: Edvige Cardillo of Mt. Vernon passed away on March 3, 2008.  Edvige was born October 18, 1922 in Italy to Raffaele and Francesca Rossi.  She married Enrico Cardillo on October 28, 1940.  Edvige worked as a seamstress in area dress shops and was a member of the I.L.G.W.U.  She is survived by her daughter Rena Cardillo, three grandchildren Michael Pietraniello and his wife Vera, and Vernise Cardillo,  two great grandchildren Alyssa and Erica Pietraniello.  Predeceased by her husband Enrico.  Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 to 5 & 7 to 9pm.  Mass of Christian burial Thursday St. Ursula’s Church at 10am.
