Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, at 11. He wished that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Breast Cancer Center, P.O. Box 27106, NY, NY 10087, or Rosary H ill Home, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, NY, 10532.

Obituary: Richard S. Mirsky, age 83, died on June 23, 2008.   He was born in the Bronx to Lillian and Michael Mirsky on May 6, 1925.  He attended P.S. 16 and graduated in 1943 from Evander Childs High School.  He worked for the New Haven Railroad as a ticket agent from 1943-1953 and as an office manager for various trucking companies until 1991.  Richard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edith nee Lambrosa, son Michael S. Mirsky, and daughters Vivian J. Beale and Audrey J. Mirsky-Ashby, two grandsons, Theodore W. Beale III and Richard Keith Mirsky-Ashby, brother Joseph Mirsky and sister Rosalie Mirsky. His siblings, Edwin, Evalyn, Donald, Burton, and Raphael predeceased him.  He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
