| Obituary: Frank A. Leone of Mt. Vernon and formerly of the Bronx passed away on June 7, 2008. He was born on March 29, 1909 in Italy to Louis and Antoinette Leone. Beloved husband of 76 years to Mary Leone; loving father to Joan (Billy) Mosca and Marilyn Leone; cherished grandfather of five and great grandfather of five; dear brother of Edith Bardagone and many nieces and nephews. Frank loved the time he spent living in Florida playing golf and taking his grandsons fishing. Frank was a skilled mechanic who owned Airport Service Station in the Bronx. He served our country proudly during World War II in the Air Force. |

Comments: I will always remember at a very young age going in my
fathers car to Uncle Frank's service station in the Bronx...amazed at
his skills, and then going down the street to Aunt Mary's house to
see her.
At the adult home while visiting my mother I would stop by and
say hello to Uncle Frank. He would smile and shake my hand...his
handshake was just as firm as I remember at his service station all
those years ago... I will truly miss Uncle Frank.
