Vernon. He also worked as a school crossing guard on Devonia Avenue in Mt. Vernon.   Michael is survived by his son Michael, daughter Margaret son in-law Harry, brother John and three grandchildren.  Predeceased by his wife Margaret, brother Joel and sister in-law Celeste.
Both Clifford Goff and I send our very heartfelt condolences to Mike's family and friends. Clifford and I were lucky enough to know Mikey because of ham radio. Mikey was Clifford's Elmer or mentor and he was the one that inspired Cliff to get into ham radio. Now, ham radio is and always will be a part of our lives. We also remember Mikey's wonderful spirit in delighting the children yearly as Santa Claus and Abe Lincoln while doing crossing guard duty. He bought a lot of joy to many kids. Because of Mikey, Cliff now uses his knowledge of ham radio in his profession which would never have been possible if he never knew the great comraderie and joy of being a ham. A gentle spirit and kind soul...we both will miss you Mikey. Rest in Peace and know we'll never forget you* With best wishes - Cliff and Linda
